How to create a new category for your Product in Tandora Knowledge Base?

A Category is the second broad sub division in a Tandora Knowledge Base. Each Tandora Knowledge Base is divided into Product, Categories and Sub-Categories.

A Category is sub division under which you can group articles of a similar type. For instance, all help troubleshooting articles can be grouped under the category called "Help / Troubleshooting" and so on.

To create a new category for your Product in Tandora Knowledge Base, follow the below steps:

  • Login to your Tandora Knowledge Base account.
  • On the home page, against the product under which you'd like to create the category, click on 'View Categories'.

  • Now click on the 'Add Category' button located on the top right corner of your screen like shown in the below image:

  • Now you can add the name of the category and in the below drop down, choose the product name under which you'd like to want that category to be created.

  • After adding the above details, click on 'Submit' button for the changes to get reflected.
  • Now the respective category would have got added under the relevant product.
